Col. John Casper USAF, Ret. Talks About His Sea Recovery in North Vietnam

On Tuesday evening, Squadron meeting (17-Nov-15) squadron member Col. John Casper, USAF retired, gave an hour long presentation on his rescue at sea after having punched out of his burning F-105 Thunderchief after bombing a bridge in North Vietnam. Not only did he have to avoid SAMs and Migs but he had to survive a bailout and potential drowning. Then while being rescued by the U.S. Navy he was a target for local NVA gunners.  Here are some photos from the meeting. At the bottom of the page are links to three videos of the meeting. Worth the watch!  Thanks Col. Casper.

Warning The videos are rated PG-13 due to salty fighter pilot lingo. Enjoy!
