Lt. Col. Greg Bell Retires After 20 Years in CAP


On Tuesday night, November 20, 2108, Lt. Col. Greg Bell, formally retired from the Civil Air Patrol after 20 years of service. Kentucky Wing Commander, Col. Darrell Williamson was there to commemorate the event along with Group III commander, Major Mike Weimer. Col. Bell received a Commander's Commendation from Col. Williamson. Col. Bell also received a plaque for his twenty years of service with Civil Air Patrol. Lastly, Col. Bell received a plaque from Col. Keith Noe for twenty years of service with the Bowman Field Senior Squadron. Col. Noe also presented Col. Bell with his 20 year service ribbon and device. After the presentations, Col. Bell gave a brief spiel about his time in CAP and some of his most notable missions and experiences. It has been a heck of a ride!
